Blackstone Corn on the Cob Recipe:

We love using our air fryer or grilling out corn on the cob. The flavor that the grill gives the corn is so tasty. The Blackstone really brings out the sweet flavors of corn. It is easily prepared with simple ingredients.

Once the corn is grilled, we love to cut the kernels off to use in many different recipes. The kernels are great in salads, salsa or many sweet corn recipes. This is one vegetable that my kids will eat without complaining because of the sweet flavor.

Corn is easy to make and is budget friendly. You can easily find good, fresh corn at your local grocery store or at a farmers market. Blackstone Grilled Corn on the Cob is a staple side dish that we have all summer long.

How to Pick the Best Corn:

The best corn to get is from a farmer, a farm stand or at a farmers market. Once a corn is picked, it looses its sweetness the moment it has been picked. Serve as quickly as possible after it has been harvested.

A good corn on the cob should be heavy and have very little give. When picking corn at the grocery store, make sure the ears are bright green and not wilted. We recommend squeezing the corn around the tips to ensure it is full and juicy.

Ingredients needed - corn on the cob, olive oil, salt and pepper

Ingredients:

  • Fresh Corn on the Cob (shucked and cleaned)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to Grill Corn on the Blackstone:

  • Prepare the Blackstone Griddle – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat approximately 400 degrees F.
  • Clean and Prepare Corn – Husk and clean the ear of corn on the cobs.
  • Gather Foil pieces – Prepare 6 pieces of foil. Lay each cob on the foil.

  • Seasoning Corn – Drizzle with olive oil over each corn on the cob and season with the salt and pepper.
  • Cover Corn with Foil – Roll up the corn in the foil and make sure that it's completely covered.

  • Cork on the Griddle – Place the corn on the flat top and cook for 10-15 minutes to about 20 minutes until cooked through. Flip the corn approximately every 5 minutes. To keep the heat in, you may want to cover with a dome.

  • Serve and Enjoy – Remove from the grill, be careful when unwrapping then foil and then it's ready to enjoy. You can serve the corn with a pair of tongs.

How to Season Grilled Corn on the Cob:

There are many different ways to flavor corn. This recipe calls for simple ingredients but we have also used these options and the corn comes out so flavorful. You can also soak the corn in melted butter.

  • Butter, Season Salt and Pepper
  • Butter, Salt and Pepper and Old Bay Seasoning
  • Italian Seasoning, butter, salt and pepper

Can you Grill Frozen Corn?

Yes, you can grill frozen corn. Frozen corn is already preboiled when packaging so make sure to not overcook it. Remove frozen corn from freezer and season with salt and pepper and butter.

Then wrap corn in foil for an amazing side dish. It is easy to cook and it saves you from having to remove the corn husk before preparing.
